"I love doctor Beverly and she delivered both my kids ages 5 and 1 now."
In a high-risk pregnancy, either the mother or the baby or both face specific health risks that could have an impact on the pregnancy, delivery or both. High-risk obstetric services help ensure these health risks are monitored and, when possible, treated or managed to reduce complications.
High-risk pregnancies are more likely to occur in women who have chronic diseases like high blood pressure or diabetes, those who have had multiple miscarriages in the past, women with a history of pregnancy problems, older women and women pregnant with multiple babies. Women who are at risk for preterm delivery or when placental problems or fetal growth concerns are present may also be considered at “high risk.”
Patients facing high-risk pregnancy need care that's specifically tailored to their unique needs, as well as frequent monitoring and other services to ensure they and their babies remain as healthy as possible throughout pregnancy and delivery. Dr. Beverly provides high-risk pregnancy patients with a full complement of services, including:
During your initial office visit, Dr. Beverly will talk about your personal and family health histories to discuss potential risks. Early lab work can help identify undiagnosed issues that may place you or your baby at greater risk for complications.
We accept all PPO plans including Tricare, HMO, Medi-CAL (depending on medical group), Family Pack, and PE (Presumptive Eligibility). Below is a short-list of just some of the plans we accept. Please contact our office with any questions.
